Our 4-Step Grant Writing Process
1. We review your requirements and develop a comprehensive grant writing strategy and quote.
To get started, we’ll ask you to send us the link to the grant you’re interested in and a short summary of your organisation and what you want to use the grant for.
We may also ask additional questions to confirm your suitability for the grant.
Once we have this information, we’ll review your needs, develop a tailored grant writing strategy, and provide you with a detailed quote, including expected timeframes for completion.
2. We consult with you via phone or email.
Once you have approved our quote, we require 50% of our fee upfront to get started on your grant.
Your grant writer will then arrange a 1-2-hour phone consult with a relevant person in your organisation, to develop a comprehensive strategy to gather the required information for the grant application.
This will include highlighting the unique qualities and strengths of your organisation, and how your project aligns with the grant guidelines.

Grant Writing Services FAQs
How much do grant writers charge in Australia?
At our business, we offer a transparent flat-fee pricing model for grant writing services. This means you’ll know the total cost upfront, with no unexpected surprises or hourly charges. Our flat fee is tailored to the specific grant and the level of detail required, ensuring you receive a high-quality, professional application that aligns with your goals and meets the grant’s requirements. This approach provides clarity, value, and peace of mind throughout the process.
How long does it take for a grant to be written?
The time it takes to write a grant depends on the complexity of the application, the amount of information provided by the client, and the specific requirements of the funding body. On average:
- Small grants or simple applications (e.g., local council grants): 1–2 weeks.
- Moderately complex grants (e.g., state government or small business grants): 2–4 weeks.
- Large or complex grants (e.g., federal funding, multi-stakeholder projects): 4–8 weeks or more.
Timelines also depend on how quickly the necessary supporting information and documentation (e.g., budgets, business plans, letters of support) can be provided. To ensure quality, it’s best to start the process as early as possible—ideally several weeks before the grant deadline.
